Hello and welcome to today's post! Today we are gonna all the back for a nostalgic post, back in 2008 FIFA Ultimate Team was first introduced for FIFA 09, fast forward to today much has changed about the game such as the mechanics, graphics etc. With that being said many great players have come through the game, great players whom you may have not heard of until having played the game. However as the newer versions of FIFA come out some these gems don't live up to their virtual form and fall off never to be seen again due to decrease in their real life performance while some manage to keep their consistency and are still worthy pick ups. Today we will looking at what happened to some of the must pick up gems, FIFA players have used and abused through the years and how they fare in today's game. *Bolded players are the most familiar players in the game*

Seydou Doumbia 85 ST, FIFA 13, CSKA Moscow moved between 4 teams in FIFA 16, 79 plays for Basel. He's still managed 90+ pace throughout the years.
Emenike 84 ST, FIFA 13, Spartak Moskva, 75 who plays for Olympiakos and his pace has dropped to under 80.
Victor Ibarbo 81 RW, FIFA 15, Roma, 72 who plays for Sagan Tosu. He is now a striker who has maintained his pace to 90+ as he's never gone down in rating.
Agbonlahor 82 ST, FIFA 10, Aston Villa, 69 rated player still plays at this club and his pace has gone down significantly to the 70's range.
Blaszczykowski 84 RM, FIFA 12, Borussia Dortmund, 76 now at Wolfsburg. His pace has gone done significantly into the 70's.
Sow 85 ST, FIFA 11, Rennes. Disappeared from the game twice from fifa 13-14 and fifa 16 now plays fenerbahce LM 79 rated still has majority of skills from back then.
Ramires 82 CM, FIFA 12, Chelsea, not in the game since FIFA 16 as he plays in China at the moment RIP.
Adrian Ramos 82 striker, FIFA 14, Hertha Berlin, 78 who plays for Granada. Not as much as aerial threat however still effective.
Sturridge 85 Striker, FIFA 14, Liverpool, 82 who still plays there however dreaded injury and injury his pace is at 76 which is still astonishing.
Hulk 90 Striker, FIFA 11, Zenit, currently not in the game since FIFA 16 as he plays in China RIP
Guarin 82 CM, FIFA 11, Inter currently not in game since FIFA 17 as he plays in China
Maicon 92 RB, FIFA 10, Inter currently not in game since FIFA 16 plays in brazil for avai
Ogbanna 83 CB, FIFA 12, Juventus, 80 currently plays for West Ham who still has the skill from before.
Abate 85 RB, FIFA 11, AC Milan, 78 who still plays there. With a lot speedsters losing pace over the years Abate seems to still have his preserved.
Bent 85 ST, FIFA 11, Aston Villa, 71 currently plays for Derby County. The rating says it all.
Wellington 86 ST, FIFA 11, Spartak Moskava, not in the game since FIFA 17, plays for Kayserispor currently. Legendary in the past, not so much now but one can only reminisce.
Muriel 84 ST, FIFA 13, Sampdoria, 80 currently plays Sevilla not much has changed to due to Muriel's elevated consistency.
Pato 89 CF, FIFA 10, AC Milan, not in the game since 2017 as he plays in China RIP
