1. Low rated bench- As you may know for the most part the players that you are matched up to play against are of the same rating as your team. If you have a 5 stars rated team you will almost always face of 5 star team. Now I'm not saying to decrease the level of your squad as you do want to have the best squad possible but rather put on 3 subs that you will sure use and as for the rest of the players put in a bunch of bronze players. Why? Well this lowers your team rating will not compromising the quality of your starting 11.

2. Warm up- Now this one is a bit more obvious however don't just go into FUT Champions without loosening up at first, after all every game does matter. Whether it's by playing FUT draft or seasons get some games in before getting into FUT Champions.

3. Substitution- As we discussed in the first point a low rated bench will help your chances in FUT Champions as you'll be paired with lower quality teams however we are discussing when and who to sub on. The timing of your substitution and who you substitute for is dependent on the situation therefore this point will be for specific cases. If you are in the lead most people would sub on an attacker or midfielder however the best idea would be to lock down defensively and sub on fresh a CB or wing backs because as someone who is down in the game I will be looking to score which will weaken my defense, making it easier for the leader to get on that counter attack however you have to be able to handle your my attack first. If you are tied or losing again it would make sense to sub on an attacker however as mentioned in the previous scenario your defense will be weak. Therefore the best option would to put in fresh midfielders this way you will have balance in the middle of the field your defense will have support as oppose to having fresh attackers who will not come back and support the defense and to add on you will get possession of the ball easier. As for timing remember FUT Champions goes to extra and pens if needed, it depends on the scenario but it would ideal to sub players on in the 70/80th if your chasing the game from behind.

4. Gameplay- This is something that only YOU the player are in control of however what I would make as a general suggestion is to play passively. FUT Champions goes into extra time and pens if needed in addition to the 90 minutes of the game therefore there is plenty of time to score, concede etc. If you go all in at the beginning of the game when super subs come in ... well your chances are slim.
