Senegal is undefeated in all their games of the AFCON cup and hasn't lost a single fixture since July 2021 to South Africa in the COSAFA cup (though many of their 1st team players won't present).
Their last 3 games have ended in a win by exactly 2 goals each. Offensively the team has been on fire as well as the defense with only 2 goals conceded in the entire tournament.

This will be a tight contest to call.
Although Senegal has not lost a single game in the tournament they have had a much easier path to the finals compared to Egypt. Egypt has not scored many goals but then again had to face the likes of top African nations: Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Morocco, and Cameroon.
Despite a stellar defense that has been able to contain teams in their last 3 games to go into extra time. Senegal has too much offensive firepower to end the game without a goal.
We see a victory for Senegal coming in regular time with a scoreline of 2-1.
